Solo Seat Rubber Block
Or maybe no one liked my "firm" pun. I can't believe with the collective wisdom on this list, no one knows the answer!!!
I did realize there are actually 3 sets of holes in the seat frame and the bike frame. rj

I put mine in the middle and it seems soft enough (190 lbs)
How To adj. seat ride height =
simply TRY IT in the other positions and
discover for yourself the change in seat settings.
The Owner's handbook does cover stuff like that also.

Solo Seat Rubber Block
My instruction manual is for a R69US which appears to assume one has the Dual Seat as there was no mention of the solo seat or it's adjustment. It's a little "fiddlely" to try each adjustment point, and rather than re-invent the wheel I thought I would ask. Guess dad was wrong. rj

keep asking - but do a little work before the question-
folks tend to respond better knowing you have
put in some effort

Solo Seat Rubber Block
I've looked at the rubber block on my solo seat many times and have yet to come to a "firm" [pun intended] conclusion regarding the 2 sets of mounting holes on the bike frame and the seat frame where the rubber suspension block mounts.
I weigh about 175Lbs and my question is, "Which is the softer mounting position, to the front or to the rear?"
I'm thinking to the front as that would give more leverage to the weight on the seat resulting in a "softer" ride. Right? Wrong?
thanks, rj
