45 degree bar riser and back for 78 r100s?

Post by schrader7032 »

Funny...they have you click on a link for pre-85 bikes but then don't list any of these bikes in the applications! Probably means you'll need to check with them directly. :(

One thing I wonder about...I hear people talk about swapping bars from other bikes, etc. The issue that comes up is things designed for 7/8" or 22mm. 7/8" is not 22mm, although they seem to suggest that on their website. The trouble people have had is trying to fit controls for 22mm onto 7/8" bars and end up cracking the controls. Maybe that's not a problem with these kind of bar clamps. Something to be sure of, though.

Thx Kurt.

I called them with no luck. Maybe I should just get used to a sore back?

I believe the 22mm and 7/8" when referring to the bar backs is insignificant because of the way they attach and clamp around the bars.

45 degree bar riser and back for 78 r100s?

I was looking on the site "Twisted throttle" and they have a barback set that goes back 1 inch and up 1 inch. They say they fit various models of BMW and many others but don't list my bike.
Has anyone used these or know if they will fit my stock bike?

Thx
