What was happening when things "went wrong"?

Just curious...what two wires (colors or terminals) did you reverse? I take it this is not a Euro spec bike...

I doubt you can get anything at the local car store for the ignition switch. If the problem is somewhere else, such as a relay or fuse, you can probably find a reasonable substitute.

Ignition Switch

Post by mschreck »

Dealer changed two wires so I would have high beam and running light on the rear. Believe he changed position 56 & 58. It's the switch. This switch has to be used on another vehicle or generator?

Something went wrong inside the ignition switch. I had to reverse two wires to get the headlight/tail light working properly. Is there a repair for this switch or can a replacement be obtained from my local auto parts store.
