Does anyone here know if a stock 1984 BMW R80 seat, fit a 1983 R100 ?

Are they both twin-shock bikes? The twin shock seats were relatively flat and the round rear cowl and seat are a unit. If that’s the case, they should fit. There are hinges on the right side of the seat and a pin that goes into the lock on the frame on the left side.
A 1985 and up monolever R80RT or plain R80 (or later R100 variants) seat will not fit on a twin-shock bike.
An R80G/S or R80ST seat will not fit on a twin-shock bike.
A 1985 and up monolever R80RT or plain R80 (or later R100 variants) seat will not fit on a twin-shock bike.
An R80G/S or R80ST seat will not fit on a twin-shock bike.
