NEW R11

Hello everybody
I recently joined the forum and I will need a lot of advice for the restoration. As you can see in the photo it is an R11, perhaps first series. Italian license plate and original documents. I think the gearbox is from the R12, maybe the whole engine. I don't know and I will be able to understand better when the bike is in my garage in a few days. The engine runs.

I'm posting some photos. I started to disassemble the engine, heads and cylinders to see the conditions. The chassis number cannot be found (for the moment), it was re-punched when it was registered in Italy. The engine number was also deleted, but I found it on the crankcase. It is number 31852. As you can see from the photos, the blue light color appears under the black paint. It originally had a sidecar, so the frame is reinforced. I think it's an R12 with the front of the R11, but I await your indications. Thanks!!

I have a R11 that I just picked up and need advice on how to test the magneto. I have been cleaning it up and replaced most the wires on the bike. The bike has not ran in years and the last person that worked on it every wire connection was twisted together and electrical tape put on it. I have replaced wires with no connectors. The circuits are working just not sure of the magneto. Any advise you can give me would be appreciated.
