What Kurt wrote about storage.
Before I built my shop, I stored my bikes in my Rochester NY garage for the winter. There wasn't much of a problem with condensation causing rust as the bikes were kept dry and temperature changes were not great day to day.
I DID have a problem with condensation when I would fire up my Kerosene torpedo heater to heat the garage to work on things. The temperature change and heater caused moisture in the air to condensate on all my tools and any other metal that was cold in the garage. Not sure If you have hobbies and heat like that but it is something to think about. St.
