I believe you can buy a poly-somethingorother seat pan which will never rust out.
Contact Sargent in Florida and see what they tell you about your dilemma.  I've had them re-foam and cover my seats twice with great results.

Thanks Bob. It would have worked just fine if they would ship to Canada. Probably why I didn't see it when I checked ebay. It definitely is in better shape than mine.
