Post by JPower »

Hi all- does anyone know where to get a copy of the book. Vech isn’t listing on his site and I can’t seem to locate. Thanks!

Do not know if it is polite or even legal, but it can be found online freely.
So in advance I apologize if I made a mistake in basic etiquette and thank those who bothered to upload it to the net.

Twocams and Michael- thanks for the leads.

I'll reach out to him via email.

Michael- I have that version- my understanding is that the /2 Electrics version is updated, with more content.

If nothing else, perhaps I can get his permission to copy an existing copy. I would think that a PDF of the updated book would be a great resource for the members here.

Thanks-

JP

IMO a copy of the updated version posted here would be a disservice to the original author and authorized sellers. The B&W version is a good basic thing, but only covers so much. If people want to work with someone off forum, that's your choice. Since the newer version is still in print, I think that would be an infringement.

Post to this thread if the book is still available. I would be interested in a copy.

I checked Amazon and it was currently unavailable. Not sure why other than subsequent publications (2nd, 3rd, etc.) haven't been completed. I bought mine from Vech a number of years ago...as mentioned above, it doesn't seem to be on his website now. I'm sure a call to Vech would get a real-world answer. It has the ASIN B002AD266Q.

All- wanted to be clear that I was not saying that we should post a copy without author permission. I have been looking and found it it unavailable. Vech confirmed it was NLA from him.

However, I did hear back from Doug Rinckes. He is working with Lulu Publishing to get it available again. I will post again when I hear back from him. Again, no disservice intended to the author or authorized resellers.

Thanks

JP

I am also looking for a copy of the book that includes the R26/27.
It's about 3 years sense the last posting and still no new copies available.
Any news when it might be coming?

The book that Vech sold had diagrams for the R26/R27. All his stock was bought/transferred to MaxBMW. I'd call them and ask what they have to offer.
