In R 75/5 , the solid green wire is the +12 volt lead. It runs from pin 15 on the ignition switch to both the high side of the ignition coil and the high side of the fuse. See attached diagram from the Haynes manual.

BTW there was a tip posted a couple of weeks ago; While you have it apart, paint the inside of the headlight bucket white. It makes thing a lot more visible.

Craig , thanks for the tip of painting the inside white , it sure is dark inside that little h/l bucket .

Here's a photo from the restoration of my R51/3. Painting the inside of the bucket white is really helpful!
