Have a 55' R-25/3 "basket case" that is missing the field windings, voltage regulator and coil. The points don't look so good either. Anyone have access to field windings for this beast? Or, better yet, a recommendation of an upgrade to electronic ignition or alternator system? If I'm going to spend a bunch of money, I at least, want the reliability of some modern stuff. It's gonna be a driver so I just want spark and enough charging for "day only" driving.
