The Harro is "period", and allows filling the tank without removing the base - just unzip the front of the bag and lay it back onto the seat.
Huggett sold a similar Mobile Tradition bag that had pre-cut knockouts or holes in the base for both the gas cap and the toolbox on a large tank.

Thanks, too, for the tip about Stemler. I didn't know of that site. I checked the site (http://www.motorrad-stemler.de/index_e.htm) and did not find any reference to Harro or Elephantenboy.

Maybe it was one of the other German vendors. I can't find my record and can't even connect to Stemler's site.
I see the bags on Uli's site at:

The 4060 looks and works just like the larger 4070 shown, just does not stick up so ungainly high.
