R62 Centre Stand Spring
Obviously my bike has a replica battery holder so there is no hole for the spring end.
Also with the battery platform I cannot see how to attach the battery strap. It looks like the correct strap has a hook on the end?
Regards
Peter.

R62 Centre Stand Spring
My R52 doesn't have an original (nr a very good repro) battery strap. Mine has two 10mm bolts that hold it to the inside of the carrier. On the outside, the strap ends with a captured dowel that is drilled and threaded crosswise, like the piece used in the band that holds the magneto to the top of the motor. A screw is placed through the battery carrier from the bottom and threaded into this dowel.
I believe that Dreher carries a hold down strap. (http://www.dreher-oldtimerteile.de)

I'll start with an easy question for someone with a similar bike.
I can see where the spring attaches to the centre stand, but where does the other end of the stand spring go to?
If someone could send a description or even a photo this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter.
