Forgot to ad in that I'm looking to extend the drive shaft on the R90 by 6 inches

Take the driveshaft to a certified welder and see what they think.
My first thought would be cut the shaft and weld a larger tube on the outside, but there isn't much room inside the swingarm for that. So, my next thought would be to cut up 2 driveshafts and weld them together to reach the length you want. Then, how do you straighten it? Maybe the welder will have some ideas.
