Corbin Canyon dual sport saddle

Has anyone tried using one of these Corbin seats on a 76 R 60/6 with the 5.81 gal tank? I called Corbin tech support today to check compatibility because there site only mentions that it works with the standard 4.81 gal tank. Tech support was initially not sure if it would work so they called around to some local dealers to see if any of them had tried it. I got an answer back from them saying that it should work, but I'm reluctant to purchase it because they don't have a return policy and if they're wrong I'm stuck with a seat I can't use. I have a good stock pan and foam, but I was thinking that by the time I rebuild the stock seat I'd be within $100 of this one. Any suggestions?

The bigger tank imposes on the seat length.
