1975 R75/6 side panels

Post by dansciannameo »

Just purchased the bike with a sidecar attached. Side panels were removed. Looking to take side car off and replace panels. Any sources? Did both sides of bike have chrome grab bars above panel or just left side?

Grab bar only on the left

Grab bar only on the left side to assist getting the bike on the centerstand.

As for side panels, I notice that Bob's BMW has them listed in their catalog 46 63 1 235 024 and 46 63 1 232 539. Other places you might check are Capital Cycle and Benchmark Works. They come up on evilbay every so often. Another possibility is a salvage yard such as Airhead Salvage.

I got the ones for my R60 from Bob's BMW. They also have some nice little custom stretch cords to hold them on.
