R90S Repair Estimates???

Post by Motorman »

Hello,
Found a R90S that appears to need a few things before it can be ridden across country. It has leaking push-rod tubes and a leaking master brake cylinder. Would appreciate the name of a good Airhead facility in the Bay Area(CA) for these repairs. These would have to be completed "on the fly" so to speak, as I would fly into Oakland, ride the motor to the repair shop, stay locally until it was completed (one day??) and ride home.
Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Motorman

I'd check with Ted Porter at the Beemershop - http://www.beemershop.com. It's in Scotts Valley...not exactly Oakland.

Beemershop

The Beemershop is about 80 miles from Oakland, pretty much direct by freeway (I-880 and CA-17). A little closer is San Jose BMW, which has a long history with Airheads.

Good luck!
