Great to hear you're bring one back to life...it's hard to see them get that way. '77 was a good year...does the bike have the small bikini fairing as well?

Can you post some pictures of the brackets? That might help identify the type of bags that you're looking for. You might also look on these sites:

My guess is they're either BMW or Krauser. There are places that sell replacement bags. But knowing the type of bag that fits those racks is the first step.

Thanks for your reply Kurt and yes I was told Krauser or BMW bags will fit but still no luck on locating them. Joe

Hepco & Becker make replacements for Krauser bags.

They are available from Motobins in the UK and probably other places.

You can check with Psycle-Repsycle in Lithopolis, Oh - they usually have a bunch of stuff.

Hi folks, I recently brought back to life an r100s "77" which was out of commission for ten years ( indeed gratifying such a lovely bike), and now putting the final touches on it. The issue I'm having are the luggage bags. I have the brackets but I can't find the original bags or close to it. Any suggestions where I might find something second hand or even new that looks like it belongs on this old air head?
