Take a very small drift and tap it out very lightly.

Replacing gas cap gasket

I think I wasn't clear - I don't mean the roll pin on the back of the gas cap . I'm referring to the pin holding the gasket to the cap with the spring and rubber pice underneath.

Replacing gas cap gasket

More correctly, how do I remove the pin holding the whole thing together. I tried to drill it out on the cap that is for my non-toaster tank and made the hole too big. Epoxy got it to stay, but it got stuck to the metal backing on the gasket, so I have bigger problems. Anyone know of a better way to remove the pin?
