I'm not familiar with that edition of the R65. I thought a JPS was a particular Norton bike. As I had an R65 as my first new bike, I'd be very interested to see some photos of yours!

I had never heard of the JPS version, or even the Norton bike. I was able to search and find many pictures of a Norton John Player Special. It seems his name has been used with the styling of lots of motorsports activities.

Someone posted this picture of a JPS R100RS...

Evan -

Close...real close...you also need to include the name associated with one or more of the pictures. It also needs to be a name which includes "jpg". I followed your URL out to your flickr site. I found one of your pictures, right clicked on it, and looked at the properties. I pulled out the URL which contained the name ending in jpg. Hopefully this will display:

Nice...I notice that on one of the pictures, the underside of the valve cover is scraped. Nice!! I assume that's from your riding it down that low as opposed to you just dropping it during a valve clearance check!!

I live in Austalia - so please don't hold that against me...
I have a 1985 R65 JPS that has done just over 40k k's. Jsust wondering if anyone knows how many of these were produced? It has black (fuel tank etc) and gold wheels coloring scheme.
I'll attempt get a photo up in the near future.
I purchased it about 12 months ago - it came with the repair manual for R45, R65 and R65LS, as well as the original tool kit.
