I'm new to the group but have been lurking for a while. Here is my project near completion. I wanted to complete it for our 50th birthday. The only issue I have at this time is the left header does not fit very well and will need some heat and a BFH.
Cheers,
Jim

I represent that age! 1966?
I make it a point to only own bikes older than me. I don't trust these new fangled bikes made in the 70s and after. Electric start? What if your battery is dead? A key? What if all you have is a twig?

Nice looking machine - Regarding your exhaust, I would suggest getting the pipe attached to the head under no tension first. Once that connection is made and solid, you can manipulate the rear area as needed - forgive me if you already though of this.

Thank you but I did try that
I know it looks correct but I did up date the ignition to electronic 12V along with the charging system, the rims are Axcel's, the controls are from a /5 so I could add directionals and a front brake light switch. If you look close the pin stripes are silver metallic. Originally I wanted to paint it the same as my 07 GT, Crystal Grey, but all my friends vetoed that idea.
