How to contact Cycle Werks.

Post by 1967 R502 »

I’ve been trying to reach Cycle Werks regarding some tools, however the phone number on the website is the wrong number and the contact form goes unanswered.

Is there some other way to reach them?

This is what is in our Useful Links section...looks like it's the same as the website:

Cycle Works, LLC
5805, Haskins Street, Shawnee, Johnson County, Kansas, 66216, United States of America
913.871.6740
dan@cycleworks.net
http://www.cycleworks.net/

I do know that Dan is a one-man-band there. For some time now, he's really backed off of the shop while he's attended to his life. Try the email and give it some time.

The way “it is” now…… no questions answered. If you see it on the online store, then pull the trigger and buy it. 99% chance you will receive what you paid for. Take it or leave it, I think Dan got tired of dealing with humans and it is fortunate he is still selling some tools. One day it will all stop…. So buy it now , it may not be here tomorrow.

My latest batch of gearbox tools are pretty poorly made. None of the holes perfectly line up and all need to be somewhat widened to use. It seems his quality is really slipping.

I’ve ordered a few alternate tools from Salis recently and the quality is night and day. If only Salis had all the tools it would be a no brainer.

Dan’s tools do work, but for the price, it would be nice if I didn’t have to modify them right out of the box. You also cannot rely on the photos from the website. Most are out of date and your tools will likely vary from the photos.

To be clear: I’m looking for a replacement part for part of the MIOT that broke. Not simply placing an order for an entire tool.

No response.

So I’m moving on and fixing it myself.

Probably easier and cheaper anyway.
