'73 R60/5 Stainless steel battery trays

My '73 R60/5 has an aftermarket (I think) stainless steel 2-piece battery tray. They have hooks on their tops for some type of battery retainers. I thought I could adapt the OE retainer straps that have pins on both ends of the straps, but no such luck.
Does anyone know what type of retainer was used with these aftermarket trays? I have been unable to find out who made these trays, or how the battery was strapped in on them. These were probably installed more than 25 years ago. They're still in perfect shape, so they must have been made by a quality manufacturer. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum! Can't say as I've seen one of these...not sure of the attraction/need. Can you post some pictures of what you have...maybe someone has some ideas.
