On the /3 transmissions there's a special lug and bolt just for the ground connection. It's at the top center of the rear of the transmission, immediately above the collar holding the clutch throw out arm.

I found on the rear lower casting of my gearbox an old wire piece, neatly attached with a bolt to the casting. As it looks quiet a "professional" connection, I wonder if this was the earthing on my bike. If so, where should this wire go to? At present, the grounding on my bike is attached to one of the bolts on the left rectangular gearbox cover. Thank you and regards.
