Hi group. I'm in need of advice on cable routing please. I've got most things working well, but I'm not sure the throttle cables are routed exactly right. The bike is a '75 R90S with the curved tubes on the carb tops. My cables come down from the throttle, go through the triangular opening on the right side of the steering head and the paths diverge down the left and right sides under the tank. The problem is, the cables won't stay under the tank, and droop down after the handlebars have been turned a few times.
Is there something that is supposed to retain the cables under the tank? How are they routed by the VR and starter relay? I'm reluctant to use cable ties, as I know the cables need some freedom to move when the handlebars are turned. Thanks,
John Barnes
