The e-Bay bike looks like a
R68's comments might be a bit strong, but the Bonham's bike definitely has an incorrectly reproduced head badge and I agree that the engine has been re-stamped, so I would categorize it as a "bitsa".
I'm pretty sure I saw the Bohham's R5 offered for sale at Fehrenbach's Veterama display some years ago. If it is the same bike I am thinking of, there there are a lot of repop parts on it......not necessarily a bad thing, but it does make it less rare. It's sort of like buying a pedigreed dog at the mall pet shop.
The e-Bay bike sold for quite a bit more than I thought it would (25k), but the new owner has a solid base for a great (and expensive), rare project.

Also, the Bonham's auction
This is also not just a "triple match", but really, a quintuple match, what with the heads having the correct numbers in them, too. *Very* unusual.
And, while the bike is not pretty, it has most if not all of the 1936 model year-only features, like the "elephant ear" air intakes and the adjustable fork damping. There were only 1500 of these made, so they are nearly as rare as the R68, just from a numbers perspective.
cylinders
R5 seria one they got different cyinders.
R5 seria 2 (engine case 6 digit, different gearbox) have same cylinders as r51.

Hello The seria 1 from 1936
The seria 1 from 1936 had both cilinders, the first one with the 5 coolribs from enginenr. 8001 till 8500 and the cilinder with the 6 coolribs from enginenr. 8501 till 9501 and enginenr. 500001 till 502786.
The r51 also had these cilinders with the 6 coolribs but they had extra holes for oil lubrication.
