I've updated every bulb on my 1969 R69S with Bob's LED kit (including the Hella bar ends) and have run this without issue since 2009. All the lights shine super bright .. including some that were barely visible before.

I use a halogen bulb for the main hi-beam.

Otherwise, it's the perfect lighting upgrade for those who want to keep the original 6V system. Highly recommended.

Very sharp, Kurt!!

Turns out the green LED did burn out due to a loose ground wire on the back of the transmission. Bob is sending a replacement as we speak.

Regardless, the LED's work extremely well - even if one burns out from time to time!
