Money down the drain?
I do ride at night sometimes, and a brighter taillight would be nice,or at least one that stays bright at stop lights.
I have a halogen headlight that helps up front, but my charging system seems to JUST keep up, so hotter bulbs may be out of the question.

When I ride at night, I use a
Well worth 15 bucks. Throw one in your tank bag in case you get stuck out at night and have to run in traffic.

There are two different LED
I have LEDs for my prewar Bosch JN-5 and JN-7 tail lights made by Bulbsthatlast4ever and have been happy with them.

I have it now in two of my /2s. You get 200 watts of 12 volt power instead of 60 watts of 6 volts. Powers brighter lights all-around as well as common 12-volt accessories.

LED fpr head light is not available but I can supply direct replacement Halogan bulb.
