I swaped out the old damaged R26 crank with old alloy rod and small bob weights,......for a good R27 and noticed the the oil slingers are not interchangeable I did find that a n R50 one nos that I had laying around fitted the holes ok but is several mm larger in diameter I thought to use this any sugestions anyone...

Here are the numbers from the Huggett store:
11 21 0 016 119 Oil slinger ring, R26(new) - R27
11 21 0 016 219 Oil slinger ring, R50-2; R50S
11 21 0 016 221 Oil slinger ring, R60-2; R69; R69S

If your R26 slinger does not interchange to the R27, maybe the slinger is what Huggett would call an R26(old).

I don't know if the R50 (R50/2?) slinger you have will work on an R27. If it did, why would BMW make a different part number for each bike?
