Wire gauge question
(AWG16 = core 1.47mm and o.d. 2.3 mm, 13Amp, resistance 24 ohm).
The system is a VAPE 12 vols, ignition & charging.
Can the others (Lighting and brake light) be less?
What about the horn?
Background:
I try to use with as thin wiring as possible.
I realized that I exaggerated the thickness of the wires when I built the wiring last time. This thickness is cumbersome, difficult to route and exerts physical pressure on the poles in the ignition switch plate.

Re: Wire gauge question
The higher the voltage, the smaller the gauge of wire is required.
A stock harness for a 6v bike becomes overkill if the bike is converted to 12 volts. But it will work just fine with 12 volts.
If you are sticking with 6 volts, you need to stay with the larger gauge wire if you are making your own harness.
