Jim, I used brass rivets.
First I clean with a wire brush the are for the rivet to make ground contact.
This is the final result.
The bolt was too big and I cut it’s head off.
The final job.
I proceed with the installation of the rest of the components, secure the housing and start with the wiring.
But now I’m looking for this part. According to Salis is a Spacer bolt for generator cover BMW part number: 12318002116.7 and I can’t find it in the USA.
Do you have another part number at hand?

Re: Field coil wires
I have Ulis 6V Voltage Regulator and explains the 2nd wire of the generator is unnecessary and must be insulated.
I think this solves the mystery of the extra wire. Hahahaha
The manual also explains that brushes are connected crosswise.

Re: Pertinax Terminal Board
I decided to make my own.
I purchase a few M4 by 20mm Female-Female Hex Brass Spacer Standoff and some M4 bolts.
I cut the M4 bolt's head off. And glued it to the hex spacer.
I should work until I found an original replacement.
