/2 Clutch/Pressure plate spacers
So I'm at the point I'm reinstalling (did not disassemble... this is from a pile of parts) a new 9mm clutch plate into a a flywheel/spring/pressure plate assembly. My "pile of parts" did not have the (6) hardened spacers indicated in the Barrington book. the book says, "Should you want to put in the spacers..." Well, I looked at Vech's site, and I assume that if I go with my 9mm clutch plate, I *NEED* the spacers between flywheel and pressure plate, correct? Do I have it right that the typical 5mm or 7mm clutch plate could do without them.
Looking for confirmation. I already have them on order.
Thanks!

The rear flywheel in the engine case
And the stack of spring, drive plate, clutch plate, and pressure plate in the order they go.
It’s about shimming the pressure plate with the hardened spacers.

But I guess to use it, I’ll put in the shim washers.
No biggie. I’ll get it together. Thanks.

You can purchase $14.00 each or turn on a lathe for a few Pennys, maybe some beers for a friend.
Disc seems to be a refurbished unit or replica, some are riveted and glued disc, with some lateral channels or grooves that helps to wipe dust away from disc surface, reducing the chance of glazing..
