R51/3 - front mudguard question

Post by Micha »

Hi again,
I would love to get information on where bolt # 14 in the drawing should go?
There is no nut or so on the other side.

Micha,

Two pictures for you. Sorry for the dirty motorbike, this is from my R51/3 that I ride almost every day! There is a captive nut that is riveted into the front fender. The bolt screws into that and simply tightens the front tire rest to it. In order to pivot the front tire rest down you just loosen the bolt.

Thanks a lot.
Appreciate your time.
I can also see that the bolt has a special head with a shoulder 8-)
