1956 R50 first start

Here is a link to the first start of my newly restored R50. It is not road ready yet, but has come a long way in 3 years!

So no oil?

It has oil. Oiled the rods and rockers and ran for a few minutes with oil leaking out through the head. The right side has a stripped cover screw that needs extracting.

Probably shouldn’t run too long that way though.

OK...in the short video I didn't see any oil coming out to the valves.
