Very nice collection! Is that blue one BMW offered or just one you liked? It is gorgeous.

The paint process is more difficult, especially for the white line.

Brush or tape?

Post by Captonzap »

Were the white lines done with a striping brush or by masking them with tape?
I am looking for methods to do a tank, hopefully with results as nice as yours.

1,spray the white paint at first.
2,use PVC tape to paste the lines, i will chose 2mm and 5mm.
3,spray the finish paint.
4,remove the PVC tapes in 10 minutes before dried.

Nicely done. I have to say

Nicely done! I have to say the bikes look soooooo nice in a color other than classic black, which we are so use to seeing. Your method of doing the pinstripes is unique! The are actually under the color layer.

You say you operate a cylinder factory. Do you cast cylinders for your BMWs? What cars/bikes do you make cylinders for?
