Post by miller6997 »

Are you all watching this R68 that Richard Sheckler has listed on eBay?

And it went from about $35,500 to $61k in the last ten seconds of the auction. I knew the bid would be sniped, but wow!

Amazing. Why anyone bids on

Post by caker »

Amazing.

Why anyone bids on eBay beforehand is beyond me. I really don't understand the value of bidding any time but the last few seconds. Why give anyone time to ponder a counter?

Wow

I watched this auction. I initially thought about bidding but waited to see how rich the bidding would get. Didn't take long. If this is a trend I will probably never own a pre-1955 BMW... :(

But could you buy a basket

Post by schrader7032 »

But could you buy a basket case R68 (need to find one first!) and then maybe spend $30K? That would be cheaper than this one and I bet it would look pretty darn good???
