Del Ortos Leaning out on Curves

Post by bmwsog »

On my 1975 R-90S, the Del Ortos seem to lean almost bog a bit on curves. This may just be when the engine is
not at fully warmed up or hot from a long run. Particularly noticeable on first few hard curvy turns....
Does not occur with a 77 R-100S with 40 mm Bings.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Maybe it should warm up a bit, or I am in need of a re-build.

Thanks-

Mine is also slightly like that . Personally i'd warm it up a bit more before take off and take it easier until it gets to running temp. Give it a try to see how you go .Mine does take a fair while to get to running temp easily over 40ks ( 24 miles ) , but this is in the early morning so your air temps may be different.
