The shade is retractable,

The shade is retractable, which is good. The helmet is called the Pit Boss by Bell and after looking at all the others out there, including the Davida I thought this was the best for the buck.

mirror

It's been a long time since my 90S ownerships, but I have a vague recollection that the curved-stem rearview mirrors were an R90S item. They may've morphed into unobtainium. I seem to remember seeing Kirk Lee, a restorer/flipper who has frequented the IBMWR site, asking for princely sums for them se...

My Schuberth is as you

My Schuberth is as you described, but for around town I just feel the full face, even with the flip up is a little bulky for the slash 2. I understand the safety issue, but I am coming from a time when I never wore a helmet, so this is definitely a big step toward being a safer fellow.

"Vintage" Helmet for safety?

So, now that I am riding the old slash 2 around I need to think about a new helmet. I believe in wearing one, but I just don't feel right about wearing the Schuberth that I wear on the R1100RS on the slash 2. Has anyone found a decent half/vintage look helmet that is well made? Thanks in advance.
