Re: Another /6 Electrical Question

On your bike, the taillight and parking light (the little bulb in the headlight) are fused at the bottom fuse. So for the issue with no taillight, start with a fuse check. That fuse's power comes from the solid gray wires on the other side of the fuse the wires become Gray/black stripe. So the taill...

Re: Dual disc for a 1976 R90/6.

I think you will find you will need a new master cylinder. As well as the mirror parts to the existing system. You might get lucky and find that the early /7 forks and parts for bikes with the ATE brake calipers might fit or match your existing fork leg and brake side. This might give you a bigger b...

Re: Fiamm horn/relay question.

Oh man, I am so sorry to make this into such a big thing. Yeah the single horn will draw 3 or 4 amps, less than the fuse cut out. Maybe some other larger horn may draw the same or less, a single horn of the dual horn system (high tone horn paired with a low toned) will draw under 8 amps. Wa1nca may ...

Re: Fiamm horn/relay question.

Tommy, do you have a better picture of the wiring diagram you are referring to? Or what is the wiring diagram you have a picture of for what year and model bike? So, in your configuration, where is the higher current draw power coming from? I can see where you are getting the low current trigger pow...

Re: Fiamm horn/relay question.

Voodoo, LoL never underestimate a previous owner for creativity. Let me just get this straight, you have checked the Brown/white striped wire and the brown wire for the switch and got power? OKAY I can kind of figure out how that is happening, is the horn in the circuit? See, the power is coming fro...

Re: Fiamm horn/relay question.

I never asked but in the original bundle of wires you cleaned up, was there wires going direct to the battery from the relay? Or perhaps a wire from the B post on the relay to a tap into a Red wire in the wiring harness? At the horn, you should get 12V. Positive power is the Green/black wire, with t...

Re: R90S head chamber volume

Sadly JC a lot of the old R90S sources are going away. My friend in AU ran a website for years until his last accident. He did not know the answer to your question but suggested you contact Tom Cutter at Rubber Chicken Racing. http://www.rubberchickenracinggarage.com The only other source might be S...

Re: R90S head chamber volume

JC, if you don't get an answer here in the Vintage club, try some of the other clubs on the web.

Meanwhile I will ask my AU R90 expert if he knows. Good luck St.
