There is no o ring. I don't think there is supposed to be one according to the parts diagram on Max BMW and the Bing book. It's a Bing 1/26/83, type 122. Hey all - On my last ride, the carb slide top nut (the knurled round nut) on my R27 kept coming loose. Answering my own question here! I was able to look up in there and the jet is still present. I'm ordering a replacement jet to have on-hand, and a couple of cover screws/gaskets. Any other carb wisdom appreciated, like if it makes sense to use a little Loctite blue, otherwise it looks like this prob...
