I bought an R12 fender from Konig , it was very good as he says it was pressed not fabricated . Joseff Heft (Heftec) is also a good source for mechanical parts cheers Peter

Darryl just saw your post, your on the right track, a friend had the same problem on his 1926 AJS in the end he fixed by assembling it wit a little silicone grease , give it a try cheers Peter

Gentlemen ,
dose anyone have the cam timing for and R42, Ive installed the cam in my engine but I am not convinced its right any help appreciated cheers Peter

Not sure about the pitch , but if you have the new mirror that you are fitting its easy to measure even with a rule, its most likely 1.25mm ... but I recall some had a left hand thread on one side but I cant recall which side but you should be able to see, cheers Peter
