My experience is that every bike I’ve seen with “differential timing” sending its owner into fits of anxiety and fear shows a few mere degrees at most. If your bike is off by a mile then of course it should be addressed but I’ve never seen more than 3 or 4 degrees. I can’t imagine how an advance lob...

I think this whole differential timing mumbo jumbo is for the most part, a great big nothing burger.

Perhaps you only inadvertently reversed the polarity of the regulator.

The horns I’m working on are the French made Klaxon variety indicative of the /2 era.

Should these sound on the bench when connected to a 6v battery or am I missing something? Does the center rear stud need to be grounded as well?

Have you seen this one in person? These days the scams are more prevalent than actual offerings. For your sake I hope it’s real but i haven’t seen a complete anything for that cheap in a long while.

I ordered a full set of rubber parts for a bike I went through 2 years ago from EME. Pushrod tube rubbers are already cracking, drive boot, etc etc. The time involved in installing these vs the time they last is ridiculous. Yhe... that's my problem, I need do replace the pushrod tube rubbers & ...
