Good point on the engine clearance - I'll remove the horn until after I put the engine in (pretty soon). The horn is pretty tight to the frame - may need to tweak the spring bracket a bit.

Cool - looks like mine is a bit different as it does not have the three rivet fasteners on the side where the vertical support joins the rack platform itself. Not sure what mine is, but I may need to replace it.

Thanks for your reply Kurt. I did look at it 180deg from how I have it now, but then the vertical support for the rack is well away (a couple inches front to back direction) from any mounting hole.
