UPDATE!

I got my crowded solo seat/Hoske tank issue resolved today. I was agonizing on how to stretch the Y yoke. My first thought was to cut it at the stem and weld in a 2-3" U shape piece to stand the seat out but then realized I could simply drill two new forward seat mounting holes 2" to the rear(the li...

The correct petcock for a '66

The correct petcock for a '66 would be the Everbest "bullet" style, of which there are usually dozens of on Ebay. There are also repops available and all can be had for under $75. Make sure you get the M20 FIP type.

I entered my R67/2 in the European class only to get beat by a nice '59 Triumph Bonneville. Had fun none the less and got re-acquainted wi...

Leather bags

Hey all, Have any of you purchased and use this bracket/bag set up either for plunger frame or Earles frame? I'd like to get bags for both my R67/2 and my R69s and while I do like the look of the Enduro repops, buying just one set of these bags and two sets of corresponding brackets would be much ch...

Fuel filler screen

Anyone know of a screen that fits in the tank at the fill hole that allows one to screw the cap on?

The /2 risers and R68 risers

The /2 risers and R68 risers both center the bar 4cm from the tree so you wont gain height, however, since the R68 type are straight up from the hole you may gain enough space fore and aft to clear your thumbs. Sidecar bars would do it too but you might cut them back just enough to get your clearanc...
