Rare is not a word I would use for a R51/3 they made thousands and thousands of them . They were not rare at time of production , if your saying rare because of age of bike maybe , but i don't think so. Is 30k too much for a restoration of a bike maybe it is or maybe it isn't . I all depends on the value of the bike. If it were an Indian Chief , or knuckle harley , or R68 maybe not . for a R51/3 me think too much . I would find it hard to believe a R51/3 unrestored with less than 2000 miles in pris...

Clutch adjustment

New to me R27
The clutch engagement and release happens at the beginning of pull or end of release of lever. I have adjusted the screw on handle bar but now I just have slack in lever.
I guess will need to adjust lever at transmission can someone give me a bit of guidance before I mess something up?

Have you ever heard of bmw making a moped or a motorized bicycle with a 2 stroke engine? Maybe one that was made by someone else and badged with bmw roundel? Like Indian and Harley did with the Italian jobs
