The owner says motor runs fine in neutral and under speed. When shifted into gear the motor slows down. The owner is going to bring it to me so I can take a look. I don't know how a clutch replacement would change how it shifted before? The only thing I can think of is the new plate is too thick and...

Engine slows

A friend replaced the clutch on his R69 US and now when he pulls the clutch in the motor slows almost to a stall. Any thoughts as to why?

cleaning inside of tank

I have a machine that I want to get on the road. I looked inside the tank and it has dried up crust form the old gas. i used a brush and vacuum cleaner to suck up most of the crud but I'd like to flush it out without harming the red coating or the excellent outside paint. RPM drops when clutch pulled

Got a R60/2 basket and rebuilt it. Runs great except... when I pull the clutch the RPM drops. Any thoughts?
