Re: Center Stand Lean?

It appears both “ears” have quite a different profile. Looking at my other bike, a 60/2, these ears are pretty much symmetrical. Not so much on the 50/2! Hopefully that’s the root of the issue, although seems weird that it would wear unevenly in such a way: 98C98A85-E251-4CC1-8FE8-E5FE06B14A38.jpeg

Re: Center Stand Lean?

Thanks for all the tips so far, here’s the bike on its stand. I placed a level on the back luggage rack, although I imagine that’s not perfectly level by any means.

Center Stand Lean?

Re: R50/2 and R60/2

Welcome, Dude! Which of the two bikes do you like the most and why? :D Oh man, that’s like picking a favorite child! In my case the 50/2 is more dialed in, and is a one-kick creme puff. The taller bars are more comfy for me personally. But the 60/2 has the right look - lower bars, sport tank and th...

R50/2 and R60/2

Howdy all - I’m new around here, thought I’d say hi and share a pic of my vintage BMWs - a 50/2 and 60/2, both original, unrestored, numbers matching and a hell of a lot of fun to ride.
