So maybe I shouldn’t have bought the 9mm.
But I guess to use it, I’ll put in the shim washers.
No biggie. I’ll get it together. Thanks.

Here are some pics.
The rear flywheel in the engine case
And the stack of spring, drive plate, clutch plate, and pressure plate in the order they go.
It’s about shimming the pressure plate with the hardened spacers.

R50/2 rear engine seal

Hey all. Simple noob question. I’m going through my Barrington book and I’m ready to install rear engine oil seal. Book says “concave side away from bearing” but it seems like the flat side should be out. Am I just getting things confused? I don’t have a pic from tear down of it, so I can’t confirm....

Seeing as I've already dunked it, we'll see. Took the condenser, points and other fairly incompatible parts off... and will see how it comes out.
