How do you know it isn’t the coil? I installed the blue coil and new condensor and the bike is a one or two kicker at all times. Timing the magneto was a big help too.

I keep looking for a definitive Heidenaur vs Metzler Block C winner for my next R69S tires but neither ever seems to come out on top as best vintage looking tire. Guess it’s a coin toss.

Keep trying would like to see it. How many miles, how original? My original ‘75 was parked early ‘80’s and didn’t move until 2017. Thank goodness for those who park these bikes and save them for others down the road.

Thanks much for the assist, found the screw I needed at Ace hardware. Was surprised they would have something so small but perfect fit, all good. Gotta love Ace!

Just did an oil change on the R90S and my BMW dealer is now carrying a non-synthetic dino BMW oil for vintage bikes, 20W-50. Comes in an old style metal can with a screw on cap. I believe someone told me Spectro makes if for them. I went with it because I could not find Spectro in my area in 20W-50....

Would anyone have the screw that holds the time change adjustment knob onto the back of the Motometer clock? Mine fell out and I was able to buy a new knob and spring but cannot source the small flathead screw that holds it on. Thanks, really frustrated trying to figure out where to source one of th...
