I'd suggest you call Vech at Bench Mark Works on this one. Maybe Darryl or Allan have some experience with this, but Vech would be the ultimate guy to talk to.

... 64 R50/2... I think I;m gonna end up speedi-sleeving the flywheel. Slabon's book calls for a CR99205 (52,25-52.40) but I'm wondering whether CR99024 (51.82-51.99) might bet the better fit if my flywheel measures in that range. Any experiences with the CC99204?
On an R50S, Bernd Kupper used the 99204 (2.04-2.047 which is ~51.8-52.0 mm as you state):

this helps. Thanks. I've got another flywheel I might try if the problem is clearly grooving of the seal surface on the current one.

I'm gonna pull the tranny on my 64 R50/2 to try an fix the $%&% rear main oil leak. Given that it's a new seal I think I;m gonna end up speedi-sleeving the flywheel.
