1978 R100S rear tire size

The swingarm and final drive are a fixed assembly and the swingarm adjustment just changes the relationship to the frame. No net change to the tire clearance.

Oh, of course. The issue is the tire rubbing on the swingarm, not the frame. Thanks for pointing that out.

I installed the BMW spacer 36 31 2 301 737 and the 120/90 X 18 has adequate clearance.
